Funuc robots have been around a while.
A Funuc robot had a short cameo in the first Terminator film in the final warehouse scene. That was from 1984!
While TODAY that may seem like creepy product placement, for engineering geeks at the time and decade+ later, it was great marketing.
You made me think of the old commercial jingle: 'We can't wait... for tomorrow!'. The Jetsons' Rosie looks like she'll be surpassed any day now!
