Gee whiz, more negative Nellies on here than I expected. Many comments seemingly reflect an all (win) or nothing (lose) attitude. If Alpha schools even helped 10% of the population, wouldn’t that still be better than the “rubber stamp” useless graduation rates in many places, the recipients of that aren’t qualified to even work at a McDonald’s? Further, where is your research and investment money to help figure out the excellent points you make? Let’s place a hundred disadvantaged (is that ok to say today) in these programs and see what it takes to help them succeed from this methodology. If we don’t start improving future parents capabilities now (as part of the points brought forth), then when and how do we begin with what? Hope is not a plan. Reach out to Melinda or MacKenzie for funding?

Noisy drones? Yep, that would drive me crazy too. Ever live near a cluster of 24/7 pickleball courts? People make more useless noise - me too! And this is today’s generation of drones. Somebody somewhere is assuredly working on the noise issues (think: supersonic jets coming back to life today, deep-sixed decades ago due to noise complaints). High winds - that really is a tricky one but is that true 24/7/365, for example, everywhere? Perhaps there won’t be 100% capability of drone delivery everywhere or at all but there is huge potential here for a significant portion of the world. You have to admit, that video was pretty slick. I had imagined more of an open area dropoff on the ground.

Now, people driving flying cars, that honestly scares the bejeebers out of me. FAD, perhaps (hands off).

That guy that invented TNT for helpful purposes, found out, unfortunately that it can and is used by evil-doers but at least his positive legacy lives on thru the Nobel program (yes, one in the same).

Thanks! I know you have talked about Alpha School before and it appears to be extremely effective. I’m interested in the AI used in the morning classes. Are these instructional programs/aps available to the general public? I have grandkids that could benefit from these AI tools. Also, can this approach be applied to higher education ( undergraduate and higher education)? The cost of college education is way out of line.
