Pentagon annual budget is about $1 trillion. Hardware contractors can’t take more than 15% of that. Profits won’t be more than 10% of that. That’s only $15 billion a year. Take P/E of 20 making only $300 billion in market cap for entire industry. Not that big. Plus hardware is HARD.
I wish you'd manage to keep just a bit more realism in these gushing reports. There's a lot of fascinating tech coming out, but when I see incredulous reports like this, it makes me doubt everything else.

No they cannot. Sailing ships are far too slow to scout ahead of powered ships, and that's even with optimal winds.

Great article. I’ve been following Anduril and El Segundo tech for a while. It needs more exposure and funding.
