Matt Ridley Interviews Richard Dawkins
Arguably the world's foremost public intellectual
When I sat down to interview Richard Dawkins the question I had in my mind was: How did a young lad born in Kenya and raised on a foggy island across the North Sea, who had a fascination for natural history and a way with words, become arguably the world's foremost public intellectual?

I enjoyed the conversation. But it surprises me that Richard Dawkins and Matt Ridley still speak about Charles Darwin as having solved the problem of how evolution works with his theory of natural selection. I think it's time to throw Charles Darwin under the bus and look for new insights on what drives evolution.
